Tuition

Tickenham Tigers
Junior group classes are held throughout the year during term time, under the Golf Foundation passport Scheme. All our PGA Professionals take juniors as young as 4, both on the driving range and the course to learn all aspects of the game. This has proved very popular. Please complete a registration form to add your name to the waiting list!

Holiday School
Concentrated tuition on a ž day basis during school holidays. Forms are handed to all Tigers and available from reception.

Beginners Competitions
From time to time during school holidays we hold huge Junior Competitions for all the Tigers. Ability on these days is unimportant because we have 3, 6 and 9 hole competitions. Parents and Professionals supervise and assist. All Tigers are encouraged to play.

School Group Tuition
Lessons are held for several local Junior and Secondary Schools. They are either part of the School day or an after School club. The same format detailed above in the Junior Group Tuition is used.

Please note
You need to be under 18 or under 25 at the start of the membership year on the 1st March. Additional joining fees when changing categories or on reaching the age of 18 or 25 will not apply, unless you have been a member for less than a full membership year. Members joining during the year pay part of the annual fees on a pro rata basis.

Handicaps
All under 18's and under 25's have the same benefits as adult members. They may gain official CONGU handicaps which are valid worldwide. Before reaching this standard under 18's may gain club handicaps up to 54 to enable play in our club competitions.

Tickenham Scholars 2009

This is the 9th year of awarding juniors FREE golf club membership. This year Hugo Miles has been given a Full Membership and Tom Henley and Zoe Hawkes have been given Standard Memberships.
Please help support these new juniors by marking score cards and playing with them in competitions

FANTASTIC SUCCESS Junior Open Day
We had 90-100 juniors attend on Monday 7th April between 3-5pm. There was a queue along the driveway to the road to get in! We gave them all free balls and clubs to use on the range. We ran a Long Driving and Pitching competition and 50 of them entered. Prizes were given in age groups u6, u8, u10 etc. We gave free tea and coffee to Mums and Dads. Thank you to everyone who attended and we look forward to seeing you again.
