Junior Tuition
Tickenham Tigers
Junior group classes are held throughout the year during term time, under
the Golf Foundation Merit Award Scheme. All our qualified PGA
Professionals take juniors as young as 5, both on the driving range and
the course to learn all aspects of the game. This has proved very popular.

Holiday School
Concentrated tuition on a half day basis during school holidays. A 9 hole
competition is held during the afternoons for those able. Forms are handed
to all Tigers and available from reception.
Beginners Competitions
From time to time during school holidays we hold huge Junior Competitions
for all the Tigers.
Ability on these days is unimportant because we have 3, 6 and 9 hole
competitions. Parents and Professionals supervise and assist. All Tigers
are encouraged to play.

Please note
A Junior is under 18 at the start of the membership year on the 1st March.
Additional joining fees when changing categories or on reaching the age of
18 will not apply, unless the junior has been a member for less than a
full membership year. Members joining during the year pay part of the annual fees on a pro rata
basis.
Handicaps
All juniors have the same benefits as adult members. They may gain
official CONGU handicaps which are valid worldwide. Before reaching this standard, club handicaps
up to 54 may be gained to enable play in our club competitions.
